Bedford County held it’s first Career Fair at the Calsonic Arena on March 22, 2017. Seventh grade students from all over Bedford County were introduced to different careers they would find available in Bedford County. Approximately 650 students attended the event. The Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Shelbyville highlighted several of their programs, including Collision Repair Technology, Computer Information Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Automotive Technology, Welding, Practical Nursing and CAD/Drafting. The TCAT-Shelbyville programs had live interactive demonstrations from their programs available for the students.
