Student life at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Shelbyville is anything but usual. In fact, you’ll find that we’re a very active campus. Students, faculty, and staff alike lend their time and talents toward creating a campus culture that is both informative and fun.

Campus Activities

Help organize – or just attend – a wide assortment of events held on campus each year.

The SkillsUSA along with the National Technical Honor Society help students develop their skills – such as leadership, communication, and organization – important in every area of life.

Although there are no dorms at the TCAT-Shelbyville, many students find the City of Shelbyville offers a full recreation center at H.V. Griffin Park, restaurants (as well as a full service cafeteria on campus), activities at the Calsonic Arena (the Nashville Symphony, Rodeos, Motocross, and the Tennessee Walking Horse shows), which often provides students with free or discounted admissions.
