The president has released an important message in regard to current COVID protocols for all campuses. Please see the below for more information.
"August 18, 2021
Dear TCAT Shelbyville Student:
Due to the increasing COVID cases in our service area, I am highly encouraging you to wear a face mask while in indoor, public areas on campus regardless of your vaccination status. This recommendation is based on the July 28 CDC guidance (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated.html). If you do not have a face mask, please request one from your instructor or from the front office.
Please continue the following:
Wear a mask over your nose and mouth at all times when you are on campus.
Follow social distancing protocol.
Report COVID related symptoms or exposures to your instructor.
Sanitize all work areas several times a day.
Do not come to campus if you are feeling ill or have COVID related symptoms. Report your absence to your instructor and be prepared to have the absence count in your number of allowable absence hours.
TCAT Shelbyville will continue to monitor the number of COVID cases in our service area and reserves the opportunity to flex instruction back to a hybrid or online format.
