Hello! TCAT Shelbyville wishes to honor all Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026 term graduates on Thursday, April 16th 6:00 p.m. at the institution's Formal Graduation Ceremony.
Please take the time to review the ceremony information contained in this email. You must click on the link below to order your Graduation Cap, Gown, and Tassel by April 3, 2026. Your card will be charged for $54.88 when you place your Graduation Cap, Gown, and Tassel order. *Your order will be delivered to TCAT Shelbyville, 2905 Highway 231 N, Shelbyville, TN 37160.

· Place: Shelbyville Central High School Gymnasium, 401 Eagle Blvd., Shelbyville TN, 37160
· Time: 6:00 p.m.
Graduates may pick up Graduation Cap and Gowns starting at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16th in the lobby of the gymnasium. No gowns will be given out prior to the event. Only the graduate can pick up their cap and gown.
Graduation Practice starts at 4:30 p.m. Please plan to arrive by 4:00 p.m. A full-dress rehearsal will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m., just prior to the graduation ceremony. There will be a restroom available for dressing. Any graduate not attending rehearsal will not be allowed to take part in the graduation ceremony.
Doors to the gymnasium will open at 5:15 p.m. for all guests of graduates to take their seats in the bleachers. Please remind guests that seats will not be available until 5:15 p.m. due to graduation rehearsal. There is no limit on the number of guests graduates may invite.
Dress and Appearance Guidance for Graduation Participants:
· Modesty and good taste should be shown.
· Graduates should present themselves as professionals.
Gentlemen: Business casual – dress pants, dark colored tie, white dress shirt, and dress shoes. No flip-flops.
Ladies: Business casual – dark colored dress pants, skirt, or dress. The dress or skirt should be hemmed at your knees. Dark colored dress shoes with a low heel or flats. No flip-flops.
Other Notes of Importance
Graduates will only receive a diploma cover at the ceremony – no diploma.
No gum, food, or beverages are allowed at rehearsal or at the graduation ceremony.
No smoking and/or vaping except in clearly designated smoking areas.
Cell phones must be placed on silent during rehearsal and ceremony.
It is the institution’s goal to have all Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026 term graduates take part in the formal ceremony, so please consider the offer to be honored. TCAT Shelbyville faculty and staff look forward to seeing you at the Graduation on Thursday, April 16th!
