About
The purpose of this program is to develop a computer-aided design (CAD) technologist proficient with design practices from concept to completion. Students will gain a wide range of competencies including basic sketching; two-dimensional manual drawing techniques; drafting standards; geometric dimensioning and tolerancing; and advanced three-dimensional parametric modeling, all while using state of the art computer-aided design software and project-based additive manufacturing with 3D printers. Students also gain the necessary practice of soft skills to become a skilled professional in their career field.
Please note, the CAD Class does not offer instruction in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Web Design, or Gaming Design.
This full-time program meets Monday-Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
