TCAT-Shelbyville held it’s 4th Annual National CTE Letter of Intent Signing day on Thursday, February 15, 2018.
Signing Day mirrors the NCAA’s National Signing Day for athletes who commit to play sports in college, but instead of athletes, NC3’s Signing Day is designed to honor students who are entering a technical field and to celebrate the dignity of work.
“By signing incoming students to Letters of Intent, we’re telling them that a place has been reserved for them and that they are valued. Technical education will prepare them for a strong career,” said Roger Tadajewski, NC3’s Executive Director. “This type of education builds families, sustains communities and grows a highly skilled workforce.”
