The Computer Information Technology program judged and operated the Capture the Flag event on May 11th for the 2016 Cyber Security Conference in Murfreesboro, TN.   Steve Mallard, Sr. Master CIT instructor demonstrated Man in the Middle attacks and demonstrated a SCADA system being hacked.

The Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security, Middle Tennessee State University and Central Service Association sponsored the highly informative conference on cybersecurity at the MTSU campus in Murfreesboro, 

The program  included presentations from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, FBI, and private sector cyber security partners. The group addressed business and industry intrusions, incidence handling and response, identifying vulnerabilities, understanding threats, and designing strategies for security. This event was for governments, health care, education, transportation, financial institutions, utilities, business, and industry professionals.
