Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration - Part Time Evenings

About

This program is designed for the student to learn the fundamentals of how the electrical circuit and components work, how the refrigerant circuit and its components work and how the airflow in a HVAC system works. The student will learn how to measure and troubleshoot airflow problems and correct them.

More importantly, the student will learn how to diagnose the electrical circuit using the correct techniques and tools. The student will learn how to troubleshoot the refrigerant circuit and how critical installation and charging is for correct operation using todays tools.

The focus of this course is residential and light commercial HVAC with an overview of other fields for familiarity.

This part-time program meets Monday-Thursday from 5:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
