The Collision Repair Technology class at TCAT-Shelbyville was recently awarded a $10,000 dollar grant by the Collision Repair Education Foundation. In the last 3 years, the Collision Repair Technology program at TCAT-Shelbyville has gone from a tier three to a tier one teaching facility with the help of the Collision Repair Education Foundation who has awarded funds for necessary tools and equipment such as the welder pictured above which is the latest in pulse welding technology. Having the proper tools and equipment for training has enabled the program to be NATEF certified. The Collision Repair Education Foundation has also provided scholarships for several Collision Repair Technology students.
