The General & Craft Advisory Council Meeting was held at TCAT-Shelbyville on April 24, 2017. Industry committee members joined TCAT-Shelbyville faculty and staff for a dinner and recognition ceremony before breaking out with their individual program committees to review each course's curriculum.
Calsonic Kanzei received the Chancellor’s Excellence in Philanthropy award.

Dental Assisting instructor, Loretta Coggins was recognized for 42 years of service.

The Distinguished Alumni award was presented to Robbie Blackwell who is a 2004 graduate of the welding program.
