Awards under Tennessee Technology Center at Shelbyville/Tennessee Technology Centers Central Office (before July 1, 2013)

December 2013 - Amy Martin, Coordinator of Fiscal Services & Human Resources at Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Shelbyville and also the chairwoman of the Bedford County Board of Education was named  2013 Tennessee School Board (TSBA) Member of the Year/C. Hal Henard Distinguished Service Award Winner.

July 2013 - Ivan Jones recognized as Rotarian of the Year.

March 2013 - Dawn Babian and Steve Mallard received the Shining Star Award from the Tennessee Technology Centers' central office and awards committee for Innovation and Administration Award for TTC Shelbyville's LMS.  The Shining Star award was part of the 50th National ATEA Conference.

October 2012 - Dawn Babian receives Innovation and Administration Award for TTC Shelbyville's LMS

March 2012 - Steve Mallard receives IT Leadership Award for Technological Advancement and Customer Experience/Integration in the 2012 SearchCIO-Midmarket.com IT Leadership Awards Program.

October 2011 - Dr. Gwen Bean named the 2011 SBEA Postsecondary Teacher of the Year - Leadership Award.  

June 2011 - The Computer Information Technology program under lead instructor Steve Mallard was recognized as a 2011 Computerworld Laureate.  (Tied with other entities such as Duke and NASA) 

December 2010 - Dr. Gwen Bean received the 2010 [http://www.tbea-tn.org TBEA] (The Tennessee Business Education Association) Post-secondary Business Teacher of the Year.

November 2010 - The Machine Tool Technology program was recognized by PMA-Precision Metalforming Association.    The 2010 Clips & Clamps Industries Educational Institution Award recognized the program for its outstanding curriculum.

April 2010 - The Machine Tool Technology program under instructor Ken Potts was recognized as the American Technical Educator's Association Program of the Year - ATEA Program of the Year 2010

March 2008 - Jim Potts, Evening Program Supervisor was awarded the 2007 Post-secondary Counselor of the Year by the Tennessee School Counselor Association

March 2006 -  TTC Central Office awarded the Cyber Forensics program a shining star award. 

March 2004 - Steve Mallard, CIT Instructor was awarded the 2004 Harold Love Outstanding Community Service Award The Harold Love Outstanding Community Service Award

August 2001 - Steve Mallard, CIT Instructor was awarded the Outstanding Faculty of the Year for the Tennessee Technology Centers.

August 1999 - Kate Jacobs, Technology Foundations Instructor was awarded the New Outstanding Faculty of the Year for the Tennessee Technology Centers.

August 1999 - Amy Martin, HR Coordinator was awarded the 1999 Support Staff of the Year Award for the Tennessee Technology Centers.
